Arnie Domestic Shorthair Young Male for sale in Morgan Hill, California

Arnie's story
Arnie is a great boy with a big purr and a solid, stocky, body-builder physique, hence his name. He's a typical kitty, very playful, inquisitive, and happy-go-lucky. Arnie loves his humans on his own terms. He comes-up to his humans willingly, loves to be petted, and even rolls-over for bellyrubs, but he doesn't particularly like to be picked-up and held. He gets along well with the other kitties in his foster home, especially his sister Elsie, so his foster mom wants them to be adopted together; they're both a bit on the shy side, so may take a little while to settle into their new home. They hang-out as a pair, play together, and seek comfort in each other if they get scared. They're two peas in a pod, so will double the joy for the family lucky enough to adopt them. Adopting a young adult cat is a 10-20 year commitment, is beneficial because their personalities are developed, and will provide many years of love, devotion, entertainment, and companionship. Arnie's ideal humans are those who crave the fun, energy, joy, and inquisitiveness of a young adult, and will happily include him in their daily activities. He'll do best in a quiet, adult home (no small, active children) with his sister Elsie and older children to keep him company. With a loving family, he'll be a wonderful and constant companion for many years. Born in October 2012, Arnie is a brown tabby DSH male, is neutered, fully vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), tested negative for FeLV, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped for identification. He uses the litterbox and scratching post, and must be indoors-only. Please contact Arnie's foster mom at ageddes@charter.net or call (408)  (voicemail) for more information about adoption; messages returned within 24 hours.
